The Lyme Disease Test
The Lyme Disease Test identifies borrelia antibodies in your blood, which can indicate the presence of Lyme disease. The first signs of Lyme illness usually appear three to thirty days following a tick bite. They may include the following:
- A distinctive skin rash that looks like a bull's eye (a red ring with a clear center)
- Muscle aches
- Borrelia IgM Antibodies
- Borrelia IgG Antibodies
When to test:
If you have symptoms or believe you have been exposed to Lyme disease-carrying ticks, you should consider taking this test. If the test results are positive, additional testing to confirm the diagnosis may be required.
- 2-4 working days
*All Wellness test results reviewed by a certified doctor and all abnormal results will be explained.
