The test kit is sent in an unmarked package to your postal address or to the nearest PostNet. After the sample has been taken the test needs to be returned to one of our laboratory partners located nationwide.
The cost for the test includes the test kit, delivery, laboratory testing and a telephonic consult with one of our medical doctors to discuss the results there will be no additional or hidden fees to get your HPV status
Who Should Get Tested:
(Based on 2017 SA HPV Board Guidelines)
- Screening from age 25 for all sexually active woman who are HIV negative
- Screening every 3 years for all HIV positive woman
Sub-types covered:
Highest cancer risk strains 16 & 18
12 Other high risk strains 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68
