A PDF copy of the test result will be sent directly to your email address including next steps for a consult or treament should there be any abnormalities.

Tests results can take an average of 2-3 working days before the full set is available. Each test will indicate the average time it takes to get the results back on the page. Some tests are available after 24 hours. 

Once you request a lab test, you will receive an email within 90 minutes containing your testing form and testing details. You can simply visit the lab and show the nurse your form (printed or the PDF version on your phone). 

A positive result means that our labs found some trace of infection in your system. Our medical doctors will help give recommendations and, in some cases, prescribe treatment. If you require a specialist, they may also refer you to one in your area.

Our private partner laboratories have locations across South Africa. You can simply choose an area at checkout, and we will match you with the lab closest to your current address. If you are not happy with the location, we can change it for you.

The general answer is no, but medical aid benefits differ significantly. To be sure, it is best to check directly with your medical aid on whether the tests are covered. As a general rule, most non-emergency procedures are not covered by medical aid or come out of your medical savings (this is just your money, kept by the medical aid and not an actual benefit)

We do not accept cash payments. The laboratory is also unable to process cash payments, on-site payment is not an option. By completing your payment online, your test and accompanying doctor’s referral form will be sent to you prior to your arrival at the lab.All payments are securely handled through our trusted online payment providers.
