Unable to access or travel to a doctor’s appointment? Get the medical support you need online. Request an online consultation from anywhere in South Africa. A licensed doctor will assess your symptoms and, if medically appropriate, issue a digital medical certificate that is submitted directly to your employer or organisation.

How It Works

1. Request a Consult
Complete a short online assessment by answering a few questions about your symptoms and medical history.

2. Doctor Assessment
A licensed South African doctor will review your information and conduct a consultation to assess your condition.

3. Receive Feedback
If the doctor determines that medical leave is clinically appropriate, a signed medical certificate will be sent directly to your employer via email (if requested).

This service is for

  • Individuals living in South Africa
  • Individuals over 19 years old only

Medical Assessment & Duration

For mild, short-term conditions, the doctor may issue a sick note for 1 to 2 days if medically appropriate.

If your condition requires more than 2 days off, the doctor will request additional information or further medical assessments before issuing an extended certificate.

This may include:

  • Physical injuries: Supporting documentation may be required, such as X-rays or relevant medical reports.

  • Medical tests: Where clinically necessary, we will send you to a nearby lab for further testing (at an additional cost)
