The Urine – Microscopy, Culture and Sensitivity (MC&S) test, including microscopy, chemistry, and dipstick analysis, is used to investigate urinary tract infections and assess overall urinary health.

The urine sample is examined microscopically to detect bacteria, white blood cells, or other abnormalities, while chemical and dipstick analysis assess factors such as protein, glucose, blood, and nitrites. Culture identifies the causative organism, and sensitivity testing determines the most effective antibiotics. This comprehensive test supports accurate diagnosis and targeted management of urinary conditions.
